openclaw skills install @voronindenis5/student-loan-strategistUse when comparing student loan repayment paths (standard vs extended vs graduated vs income-driven), planning PSLF qualification, sizing extra payments, or projecting forgiveness tax bombs. Runs real amortization and discretionary-income math and ranks strategies by total cost and payoff date.
openclaw skills install @voronindenis5/student-loan-strategistStudent debt decisions are made once (at exit counseling or on a servicer website) and then never revisited — yet the difference between repayment plans is routinely $20,000–$80,000 in extra interest or a five-figure forgiveness tax bill nobody saw coming. Servicers present plans as a menu without showing 20-year totals; borrowers pick the lowest payment and lose.
This skill is a decision instrument: given balances, rates, income, and family size, it runs real amortization and cash-flow simulations for every major federal plan shape and ranks them honestly — including the income-driven (IDR) "forgiveness" trap, where the discharged balance at year 20/25 is taxable income (the "tax bomb").
Don't use for: private loan payoff alone (no IDR/forgiveness logic needed — plain avalanche math still works), or tax filing advice. Always state figures are estimates: servicer rounding, income growth, and rule changes (REPAYE/SAVE litigation) shift results.

Avalanche +$150/mo $575/$575 2033-05 $45,690 $7,690
VERDICT: Avalanche+$150 pays least overall (2033). If PSLF-eligible, stay on IDR 15%,
pay minimum, forgiveness ~2051-04 is TAX-FREE under PSLF — total paid ≈ $88k regardless.
