Not setting up filters after unsubscribing. After unsubscribing, set up rules to auto-file or delete future emails from that sender. Otherwise you'll just resubscribe.
Over-responding to Low priority emails. Most emails don't need a response. If the triage says "No response needed," trust it — responding just creates more email.
Checking email too frequently. The goal of a daily digest is to check 2-3 times per day, not constantly. Turn off notifications and batch-process.
Ignoring the 2-minute rule. If a reply takes less than 2 minutes, do it immediately instead of filing it for later.
Unsubscribing from everything at once. Some newsletters are valuable. Review the unsubscribe list before nuking everything.
