Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk
Overview
The device bridge and optional firmware workflow have disclosed capabilities, explicit setup controls, and safeguards consistent with their purpose.
Use a dedicated restricted agent and an unprivileged OS account: the device token permits use of that agent's allowed tools. Review provider data transfers and charges, retained recordings, and firmware permissions before enabling optional features. Keep installation confirmation enabled. The legacy OAuth mode can refresh its configured credential file, so avoid competing credential writers.
Vulnerability Patterns
- Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
- Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
- Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
- Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
- Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep
