Polymarket Copytrading

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This is a real Polymarket copytrading skill, but it needs review because it can make live trades through under-documented paths and persist future trading settings.

Install only if you intend to let an agent inspect and trade through a Simmer/Polymarket account. Keep it in dry-run or $SIM mode first, set small trade limits, review any persistent config changes, and do not provide a wallet private key unless you are comfortable with SDK-managed signing and live trading from that environment.

Description-Behavior Mismatch

Medium
Confidence
92% confidence
Finding
In reactive mode, the skill does more than mirror an observed trader action: it can import an external Polymarket market into the local trading system based on reactor-provided slug/condition data. That expands the trust boundary from 'copy trades on known markets' to 'create/trade newly referenced markets', which can be abused to make the agent interact with unexpected or attacker-influenced markets.

Description-Behavior Mismatch

Medium
Confidence
88% confidence
Finding
The skill exposes a --set path that persists configuration changes to disk, including trading wallets and limits, despite being described primarily as a trade-mirroring tool. Persistent config mutation can be leveraged to silently alter future behavior across runs, creating a lasting integrity risk if an untrusted caller can invoke the skill with arguments.
