The exact feed could not be checked, so notice-level evidence is unavailable. This procedure still covers export, human timetable review, upstream correction, publication, registration refresh, and reporting. Option 1: connect GTFS Feed Check and rerun. Option 2: download the exact public GTFS Schedule ZIP and run the Canonical GTFS Schedule Validator through its web interface, desktop application, CLI, or GitHub Action. Preserve the validator version and report. This path still requires separate human schedule review and review of distributor-specific rules.

Record the service change, calendar rollover, stop rename, or route rename. Identify the schedule release that must replace the old calendar and any fixed-route NTD submission that requires a static GTFS feed URL.
Produce the GTFS Schedule ZIP from the scheduling system. Do not reconstruct the feed in the assistant.
Have the responsible staff review whether the timetable matches real service. Keep this judgment separate from automated conformance evidence.
Make the exact ZIP intended for publication directly and publicly fetchable over HTTP(S). Reject a portal page, local path, authenticated URL, cloud-drive share, GBFS feed, or GTFS-Realtime feed as the check input.
Do not repeat URL query strings or credentials in narration.
Tell the user that the live download and validation can take up to 90 seconds before calling powmcp-gtfs-feed-check:gtfs_feed_check.
Supply the direct public url. Set maxNotices only when needed; its allowed range is 1 through 1000 and its default is 400.
Run one call for the artifact. If an invalid-arguments response names a field, correct that field and call again. Treat this as an argument correction, not a missing tool.
Lead with pass or fail, engine version, and the most severe notice. Then record ERROR, WARNING, and INFO counts, structural inventory, service-date span, SHA-256, and whether the notice list was truncated.
Write no finding that the check did not produce.
Address ERROR notices before WARNING and INFO notices. Decide with agency staff which nonblocking warnings matter.
For each finding, preserve the returned notice code, file, field, message, and example location. A code names a rule, not a diagnosis beyond the returned message.
Apply each correction in the upstream scheduling data so it survives later exports. Export a revised ZIP after the correction cycle.
Replace the bytes at the same public input with the revised export, then rerun powmcp-gtfs-feed-check:gtfs_feed_check on that input. Do not call the release clean from an earlier report or an incomplete, truncated notice list.
Continue the fix, export, replace, and rerun loop until the release decision is supported by the current report.
When before-and-after evidence is the deliverable, tell the user the comparison can take up to 115 seconds before calling powmcp-gtfs-feed-check:gtfs_feed_compare.
Supply exactly two distinct direct public GTFS Schedule URLs for the same agency in urls, baseline first and revised second. Set maxNotices only when needed; its allowed range is 1 through 600 and its default is 300.
The URLs must be distinct. Supplying the same URL twice triggers the strict failure Feed compare failed: the two URLs must be distinct feeds because the tool requires separate baseline and revised inputs.
Run one comparison per baseline and revised pair unless another correction produces a new revised artifact. If an invalid-arguments response names a field, correct it and call again.
After correcting validation errors and rerunning the check, publish the checked ZIP at a stable public URL. Retain the checked URL, SHA-256, engine version, report, and date as release evidence.
Refresh registrations with applicable consumers or reporting systems after publication.
State which URL and exact bytes were checked, the date, the returned findings, the applied fixes, and every item not assessed with its reason. Keep distributor-specific review and human schedule review visible.
powmcp-gtfs-feed-check:gtfs_feed_checkRead pass, the engine version, and the most severe notice first. A pass means the pinned profile produced no ERROR notice; WARNING and INFO notices may remain.
Quote the returned ERROR, WARNING, and INFO counts without recalculating or rounding them. Then quote the required and optional table inventory, agency, route, trip, stop, and shape counts, feed_info presence, service-date span, SHA-256, and truncation state when returned.
Order findings most severe first. Use the returned notice code, file, field, message, and example row or field location. Absence from the returned findings is not endorsement, especially when the notice list is truncated.
powmcp-gtfs-feed-check:gtfs_feed_compareRead each feed's SHA-256, pass verdict, severity counts, and service-date span before the regressions and resolved lists. Read ranking only as automated conformance by pass state and then fewer ERROR notices.
A pass and ERROR-count tie provides no evidenced winner. Ranking does not establish which feed better reflects real service.
A notice code identifies the validator rule. When only a code and location are available, open the cited location and apply the returned message without adding a diagnosis.
