Social Media Drafter

Stop staring at a blank post. Give this skill an idea, a topic, or a rough thought — and it drafts platform-optimized posts for LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Match your voice, hit the right length, and include hooks that get engagement.

Trigger on-demand whenever you have something to share, or batch-draft a week's worth of content in one sitting.

What You Get

  • Platform-specific posts from a single idea (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook)
  • Posts matched to your brand voice and style
  • Hooks and CTAs optimized for each platform's algorithm
  • Hashtag suggestions based on your niche
  • Content variations — multiple angles from one topic
  • Batch mode for creating a week of content at once

Setup

Required

  • Nothing — this skill works out of the box. Just tell your agent what to post about.

Optional (but recommended)

  • Brand voice doc — a file describing your tone, style, and audience so posts are consistent
  • Post history — examples of your best-performing posts for style matching
  • Posting tool — Buffer, Hootsuite, or direct API access to schedule posts after approval
  • Content calendar — a file or sheet tracking what you've posted and what's planned

Configuration

Tell your agent:

  1. Your niche/industry — what you do and who you're talking to
  2. Brand voice — how you sound (professional, casual, witty, educational, inspirational)
  3. Platforms — which platforms to draft for (default: all four)
  4. Hashtag strategy — your go-to hashtags or let the agent suggest based on topic
  5. Post length preference — short and punchy vs. longer storytelling
  6. CTA style — how you end posts (question, link, call to action, none)

How It Works

Step 1: Capture the Idea

  • User provides a topic, idea, link, or rough thought
  • Can be as simple as "post about why small businesses need AI" or as detailed as a full outline
  • If a URL is provided, extract the key points for repurposing

Step 2: Adapt for Each Platform

LinkedIn (professional, 1300 char sweet spot)

  • Open with a bold hook (first line matters most — it's above the fold)
  • Use line breaks for readability
  • Include a personal angle or story
  • End with a question or call to engagement
  • 3-5 relevant hashtags

X/Twitter (concise, 280 char limit)

  • Punchy, quotable one-liner or thread
  • If the idea is big, suggest a thread format (numbered tweets)
  • Use conversation starters
  • 1-2 hashtags max

Instagram (visual-first, caption up to 2200 char)

  • Start with a hook before the "more" fold
  • Conversational, relatable tone
  • Include CTA (save, share, comment)
  • 15-25 hashtags in a comment block (not inline)
  • Suggest image/carousel concept

Facebook (community-focused, medium length)

  • More casual and conversational
  • Ask questions to drive comments
  • Personal stories perform well
  • Minimal hashtags (0-3)

Step 3: Generate Variations

For each platform, draft 2 options:

  • Version A — the primary draft matching your voice
  • Version B — an alternative angle (different hook, tone, or format)

Step 4: Present for Review

📱 Social Drafts — "[Topic]"

📘 LINKEDIN
Version A:
[Full post text]
#hashtag1 #hashtag2 #hashtag3

Version B:
[Alternative angle]

🐦 X/TWITTER
Version A:
[Tweet text — within 280 chars]

Version B (Thread):
1/ [Opening tweet]
2/ [Supporting point]
3/ [CTA/conclusion]

📸 INSTAGRAM (caption)
Version A:
[Caption text]
.
[Hashtag block]
🖼️ Image idea: [suggestion]

📘 FACEBOOK
Version A:

Step 5: Refine & Deliver

  • User reviews, picks favorites, requests edits
  • Agent refines based on feedback
  • If posting tool is connected, schedule the approved posts
  • Log posted content to content calendar

Examples

User: "Draft a post about how AI agents save small business owners 10+ hours a week"

Agent responds with drafts:

📱 Social Drafts — "AI agents saving time for small businesses"

📘 LINKEDIN I used to spend 2 hours every morning just reading emails, checking my calendar, and figuring out what to work on.

Now my AI agent does it in 30 seconds.

Here's what changed when I set up an AI executive assistant: → Morning briefings: automated → Email triage: automated → Client follow-ups: automated → Invoice reminders: automated

That's 10+ hours/week back in my pocket.

The wild part? It costs less than Netflix.

What would you do with an extra 10 hours every week?

🐦 X/TWITTER My AI agent handles my email, calendar, and client follow-ups while I sleep.

10+ hours/week saved. Costs less than Netflix.

The future of small business isn't hiring more people. It's building smarter systems.

📸 INSTAGRAM I got 10 hours of my week back. Here's how. 👇
