When learning from videos, books, papers, or other materials, prioritize:

  • Unique or contrarian insights that challenge conventional thinking
  • Surprising facts or statistics that make you go "wow, I didn't know that"
  • Interesting anecdotes or stories that illustrate a point memorably
  • Quotable one-liners that capture the essence of an argument
  • How conclusions are reached, what evidence and assumptions support them, and what we may have misunderstood.
  • When conclusions hold or break down, and which ideas or methods can be applied elsewhere.

Select valuable content from the source, merge repeated points, and retain the foundational knowledge needed to follow the reasoning. Preserve the source context and any existing timestamps or page references, clearly distinguishing exact quotes, the author's views, and your own inferences.

For important content worth understanding more deeply, you may use Reveal the truth through metaphor. to explain it further.
