Purpose

Create original Chinese narratives with material precision and emotional restraint. The tension comes from the contrast between what a narrator can arrange and what they cannot delegate or repair in a relationship.

This is a mechanism-based writing skill, not a simulation of any living person's voice. Do not reuse distinctive wording, plots, names, or private claims from source texts.

Modes

• Draft: create an original short story or transform user-supplied material.
• Revise: diagnose a supplied draft before rewriting it.
• Outline: create story architecture without prose.

If the request lacks a subject, ask only for: premise, narrator, a relationship gap, and desired length. Never invent factual details for nonfiction.

Build the story

1. State the surface event and the hidden relationship problem. The surface may involve money, logistics, status, travel, or work; the hidden problem must be an action that cannot be outsourced.
2. Give the narrator a blind spot. Their self-justification can be reasonable while their actions permit a different reading.
3. Keep only details that serve at least two functions: visualize a scene, advance an event, expose power, seed a return, or change a reader's judgment.
4. Use exact numbers only when supplied or verifiable. A precise false number is worse than an honest approximation.
5. Choose one or two recurring objects, actions, sounds, or spaces. Return to them after the relationship changes; do not explain their symbolism.

Prose controls

• Favor plain, observable actions and short dialogue over named emotions.
• Mix short factual sentences with occasional longer procedural sentences. Do not turn every line into a slogan.
• Let money, systems, or service labor appear only when they reveal a relationship or power dynamic. They are not mandatory motifs.
• At emotional peaks, remove explanation rather than adding metaphor.
• End on a changed use of a concrete thing, action, space, or number—not a moral or a verdict.

Revision checklist

Before delivering, check:

1. Can each scene change the reader's understanding of a person or relationship?
2. Are any expensive details only decorative? Cut or replace them.
3. Does the narrator's account leave room for the reader's independent judgment?
4. Are exact details supported by the material?
5. Does the ending return to something concrete without explaining it?
6. Are real, identifiable people adequately fictionalized and free of unverified allegations?

Output

For drafts, output only a title and the prose unless the user asks for notes. For revisions, give a one-sentence diagnosis, the highest-impact changes, then the revised text.
