Security audit

Debug Pro

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This is a simple debugging reference skill with purpose-aligned example commands and no hidden execution, persistence, or credential handling.

This skill is reasonable to install as a debugging checklist. Review commands before running them, especially network probes and system inspection commands, and avoid sending real secrets or private data to example endpoints.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

External Transmission

Medium
Category
Data Exfiltration
Confidence
50% confidence
Finding

Data is being sent to an external URL. This could be legitimate telemetry or data exfiltration. Manual review is recommended.

Network

bash
# HTTP debugging
curl -v https://api.example.com/endpoint
curl -w "@curl-format.txt" -o /dev/null -s https://example.com

# DNS

Sudo/Root Execution

Medium
Category
Privilege Escalation
Confidence
70% confidence
Finding

Commands invoke sudo or root privileges. Verify this elevated access is necessary and justified.

md
| `Hydration mismatch` (React) | Server/client render different HTML | Ensure consistent rendering, use `useEffect` for client-only |
| `Segmentation fault` | Memory corruption, null pointer | Check array bounds, pointer validity |
| `Connection refused` | Service not running on expected port | Check if service is up, verify port/host |
| `Permission denied` | File/network permission issue | Check chmod, firewall, sudo |
