Pollen Forecast 花粉播报

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill provides pollen forecasts and optional daily alerts, with the only notable risk being that recurring alerts should be confirmed before creation.

Installers should treat this as a forecast helper that can also create recurring notifications. Before allowing the cron command, confirm that you asked for daily alerts and verify the city, schedule, timezone, channel, recipient, and how to disable the alert later.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Finding

The skill instructs the agent to create a persistent cron job that will continue sending reports on a schedule, but it does not require an explicit user warning or confirmation that a long-lived automated task is being created. This can lead to unintended ongoing actions, repeated notifications, and continued use of user channels or targets beyond what the user may have expected from a one-time pollen query.
