Purpose & Capability

The name/description (Tencent Web Search) match the shipped Python script and SKILL.md. Required binaries (python3) and the two Tencent env vars are exactly what a client for the WSA API needs.

Instruction Scope

SKILL.md instructs running the provided script from the skill directory, and the script only reads the declared env vars, accepts CLI args, and sends requests to wsa.tencentcloudapi.com. It does not read unrelated files or send data to unexpected endpoints.

Install Mechanism

No install spec — this is an instruction-only skill with a shipped script. Nothing is downloaded from third-party URLs or installed at runtime.

Credentials

The skill requires only TENCENTCLOUD_SECRET_ID and TENCENTCLOUD_SECRET_KEY, which are necessary to sign requests to Tencent Cloud. This is proportionate; however, those credentials may grant broader Tencent Cloud access depending on their IAM permissions, so use least-privilege keys.

Persistence & Privilege

always is false and the skill does not request persistent system-wide privileges or modify other skills. It runs on user invocation or autonomous agent calls per platform defaults.

Assessment

This skill appears to simply call Tencent Cloud's WSA API using the provided Python script. Before installing: - Only provide a Tencent API key (SecretId/SecretKey) scoped to the minimal permissions needed for search; avoid using root or highly privileged keys. - Review the included scripts (scripts/websearch.py) yourself — the code is short and transparent and sends requests to wsa.tencentcloudapi.com. - Be aware that any system or agent that receives these env vars could use them; store keys in a secure place and rotate them if exposed. - If you need stricter controls, create a dedicated Tencent service account with only the search API permissions, or run the script in an isolated environment.

快速开始

准备工作

配置腾讯云联网搜索skills前，您需要在腾讯云控制台上完成准备工作：

操作步骤	说明
步骤一：登陆注册	注册腾讯云账号，完成实名认证并登录
步骤二：开通标准版服务	控制台自助开通联网搜索API 标准版服务
步骤三：获取云API密钥	获取云 API 密钥的 SecretId 和 SecretKey

配置密钥环境变量

安装skills后，您需要将腾讯云密钥以环境变量的方式配置在Open Claw中。

变量名称1： TENCENTCLOUD_SECRET_ID
