FDE Adoption and Value

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This markdown-only skill helps evaluate POC adoption and business value, and its operational references are advisory rather than hidden code or automatic system access.

Install only if you need POC adoption and value-review guidance. Because the skill may analyze usage logs, support issues, ownership, costs, and recovery-readiness evidence supplied by the user, provide only data you are authorized to share and treat scale or investment recommendations as inputs for human decision makers.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access

Scope Creep

Low
Category
Excessive Agency
Confidence
70% confidence
Finding

Skill's behavior or capabilities extend beyond its stated purpose. Scope creep allows an agent to perform actions unrelated to its documented functionality, increasing the attack surface.

Vague Triggers

Low
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
84% confidence
Finding

This manifest file includes a default prompt that describes invoking the skill to process a "POC run report," but it does not define specific trigger phrases, scope boundaries, or negative examples. In a manifest context, that lack of specificity can make it unclear when the skill should activate versus when similar everyday requests about adoption or value should not invoke it.

Missing User Warnings

Low
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
80% confidence
Finding

This is a markdown file, so SQP-2 applies to whether the skill description warns about impactful behaviors. The document references operational activities such as logs, auditing, recovery, and notifications, but does not explicitly disclose privacy or system-impact considerations that may matter to users or operators.

Missing User Warnings

Low
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
87% confidence
Finding

For markdown files, missing-warning findings apply when descriptions omit warnings about behaviors that could affect user data or system integrity. Recovery or downgrade drills are potentially disruptive, but the document does not warn readers to use non-production environments or approved procedures.
