Dedupe

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This is a deduplication reference skill that prints guidance and examples, with no evidence of hidden execution, exfiltration, persistence, or privilege abuse.

Installers should understand that the skill contains copyable examples for deleting duplicate files and database rows. Use read-only detection commands first, work on backups or staging copies, and review any delete, auto-delete, hardlink, symlink, or SQL DELETE command before running it.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Missing User Warnings

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
91% confidence
Finding

The script is a reference/help skill, but it presents destructive examples such as auto-delete and duplicate deletion commands without prominent inline warnings at the point of use. In an agent skill context, users may copy or invoke these commands with limited scrutiny, increasing the risk of accidental irreversible data loss on filesystems or datasets.
