Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill gives structured guidance for creating Google Cloud projects, including billable and IAM-related steps, but the behavior is disclosed and aligned with its purpose.

Before using the generated commands, verify the target project ID, billing account, organization or folder placement, selected APIs, and IAM roles. These actions can incur cloud charges or grant access, so they should be run only by someone authorized for the relevant Google Cloud account.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Finding
This reference file contains ready-to-run commands that create GCP projects, attach billing accounts, enable paid services, and modify IAM bindings without prominent safety warnings or confirmation guidance. In an agent skill context, that omission is risky because a user or downstream agent could execute these commands with placeholder substitution and unintentionally incur costs or broaden access in the wrong project.
