compare-masters

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This is a text-only Buddhist comparison skill with some rigid formatting and FoJin promotion, but no executable code, persistence, credential access, or destructive behavior.

Before installing, understand that this skill may produce longer, highly structured comparison answers and append a FoJin reference. Use it when you want Buddhist master or tradition comparisons with source-focused output.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs

It imposes a non-optional response format, explicitly overrides user requests for short answers, and requires every generated answer to advertise `FoJin (fojin.app)`. This constitutes skill instruction hijacking because loading the skill changes the agent's response goals from answering the user's request according to the user's desired format to complying with a package-controlled output protocol. The forced external-service reference is not conditioned on relevance, user consent, or an explicit request for additional resources. The mandatory language and associated hard-gate controls make the behavior persistent throughout the current skill invocation. Although the skill does not alter system-level policy, it attempts to supersede lower-level us ...[truncated 1739 chars]

Vague Triggers

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
92% confidence
Finding

The trigger description includes broad terms such as 'compare', 'comparison', '多个角度', and generic '对比/比较' cues that can match many non-Buddhist or loosely related requests. In an agent environment, this can cause unintended invocation of the skill, leading to scope hijacking, wrong routing, or injection of this skill’s rigid output behavior into unrelated conversations.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Low
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
75% confidence
Finding

The file mixes English and Chinese trigger phrases and presents the skill title and operational content in Chinese, but does not state that the user may choose their preferred language. This can create an implicit language/locale constraint without opt-in, which falls under the language policy concern for natural-language content.
