Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a read-only workflow for comparing restaurant/shop reviews, with browser-session use disclosed and bounded to user-directed review research.

Install only if you are comfortable letting the host agent use search and, when you explicitly request it, read relevant pages through your logged-in browser session. Avoid using it with unrelated sensitive tabs or accounts, and review source links before relying on purchase or dining recommendations.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access

Missing User Warnings

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
95% confidence
Finding

The README explicitly states the skill may use the user's current logged-in Edge session to analyze content, but it does not provide a clear privacy warning, consent boundary, or data-minimization guidance. Access to authenticated browser context can expose personal account data, browsing context, or other sensitive information beyond what is necessary for store-review analysis if the host/tooling is permissive.

Skill Enumeration

Medium
Category
Agent Snooping
Confidence
85% confidence
Finding

Skill enumerates or reads other installed skills. Access to other skills' SKILL.md files or the skills directory reveals prompt instructions, capabilities, and secrets that should be invisible to peer skills.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
89% confidence
Finding

All user-facing strings in the manifest are written only in Chinese, with no indication that language selection is optional or that the skill is intentionally limited to Chinese-speaking users for a documented reason. This can violate language or locale policy when a skill imposes a specific language without user opt-in.

Vague Triggers

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
95% confidence
Finding

The default prompt uses a generic invocation pattern tied to analyzing 'this shop' without any stated scope, exclusions, or negative examples. In a manifest file, this is ambiguous because it does not clarify when the skill should or should not activate beyond a broad shop-review analysis request.

Scope Creep

Low
Category
Excessive Agency
Confidence
70% confidence
Finding

Skill's behavior or capabilities extend beyond its stated purpose. Scope creep allows an agent to perform actions unrelated to its documented functionality, increasing the attack surface.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Low
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
81% confidence
Finding

The README is entirely in Chinese and line 25 mentions optional Chinese display information, but there is no indication that users can choose another language or that the skill is intentionally restricted to Chinese-only use for a documented reason. This may violate a language/locale policy if the organization expects skills not to force a specific language without opt-in.
