Clipboard

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This skill appears to provide straightforward clipboard commands, with the main risk being normal clipboard privacy and overwrite behavior.

Install this if you want command-line clipboard support and are comfortable using xclip. Avoid copying secrets unless necessary, remember that clipboard contents can overwrite what you previously copied and may remain available to other local apps, and clear or replace the clipboard after handling sensitive data.

Finding
The skill documents direct clipboard copy/paste operations without warning that clipboard contents may contain sensitive data, be visible to other local applications, or overwrite whatever the user previously copied. In this context, the commands are legitimate, but the omission can still lead to accidental disclosure or destructive overwrite of clipboard contents during normal use.
