Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill only provides routine executive report formatting guidance and does not request sensitive access, persistence, or hidden execution.

Before installing, understand that this is a simple formatting workflow skill. It may benefit from clearer stage-selection wording, but the inspected artifact does not request credentials, private files, network access, persistence, or system changes.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Finding
The workflow text says to 'Invoke the stage requested by the user' and describes multiple independently invocable stages, but it does not provide strong gating criteria for which stage should run in ambiguous or adversarial prompts. In a multi-tool skill, overly broad invocation guidance can cause incorrect stage selection or chaining, which may let a user steer the agent into applying formatting logic under the wrong assumptions or with unintended inputs.
