Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This is a newsletter-generation skill with Markdown templates and no executable code, though recurring delivery should be configured deliberately.

Install only if you want a Chinese-language newsletter workflow. Before using periodic mode, confirm where schedules, source lists, interests, and delivery details will be stored, and require explicit review before any recurring scan or push delivery is enabled.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Missing User Warnings

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
89% confidence
Finding

The skill explicitly supports periodic newsletters with recurring source scanning and push delivery, but it does not mention what user data may be stored, how subscriptions are managed, or what consent and retention controls apply. In a workflow that may track user interests, source preferences, schedules, and delivery endpoints, this omission can lead to privacy surprises, over-collection, or unauthorized persistence of personal configuration data.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
95% confidence
Finding

The entire template is written in Chinese, including section headings and placeholder guidance, which implies the skill output is constrained to a specific language. Under the policy, forcing a language or locale without offering user choice or documenting a justified region-specific requirement is a natural-language policy violation.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Confidence
96% confidence
Finding

The natural-language instructions and description consistently assume Chinese as the interaction language. Under the language/locale policy, forcing a specific language without user opt-in or a documented regional justification is a policy concern.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Finding

This markdown template uses Chinese headings and placeholder text throughout, which imposes a specific language/locale in the skill content. The file does not indicate that language selection is optional or user-configurable, so it may violate a policy requiring language choice or opt-in.
