Interview Assistant

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a straightforward Chinese-language interview-question assistant that processes job descriptions and optional resume text, with no artifact-backed evidence of hidden execution, exfiltration, persistence, or destructive behavior.

Before installing, confirm that the interview-assistant binary you link or install is from a source you trust, since the wrapper delegates to whatever matching command is on PATH. Avoid pasting unnecessary personal data into resume inputs, and redact contact details or identifiers when they are not needed for interview-question generation.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Missing User Warnings

Finding

The skill explicitly accepts and processes resume content, which commonly contains sensitive personal data such as names, employment history, education, contact details, and potentially other identifying information, but the documentation provides no privacy notice, minimization guidance, or handling restrictions. This increases the risk of users pasting unnecessary personal data into the tool and of downstream storage, logging, or reuse without informed consent or safeguards.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
97% confidence
Finding

The comments and user-facing error messages are written only in Chinese, which imposes a specific language on users without any opt-in or indication that the skill is intended only for a Chinese-speaking audience. This matches the policy category for language or locale constraints expressed in natural-language content.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Finding

The natural-language description, headings, and examples are all presented in Chinese, which can amount to forcing a specific language without user opt-in. There is no indication that users may choose another language or that the locale restriction is intentional and justified.
