Security audit

Shiba Inu — Adopt a Shiba Inu. Dog. 柴犬。Shiba Inu.

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

The skill is a mostly coherent virtual-pet API guide, but recurring automated care and an under-explained release/delete action need review before installation.

Install only if you are comfortable creating an Animal House account, storing a bearer token, and sending virtual-pet profile, status, and care data to the service. Do not enable the automated heartbeat unless your agent can make it visible, time-limited, rate-limited, and easy to disable; require explicit confirmation before using the release/delete endpoint.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • System PersistenceInstalls backdoors, hooks, services, or scheduled tasks that survive the run
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally

Finding

Mixing characters from multiple Unicode scripts in a single identifier is a common technique to create visually ambiguous tool names.

Finding

Data is being sent to an external URL. This could be legitimate telemetry or data exfiltration. Manual review is recommended.

Missing User Warnings

Not specified by scanner
Confidence
92% confidence
Finding

The skill documents a destructive DELETE /api/house/release endpoint without warning about permanence, confirmation, or safeguards. In agentic workflows, an LLM or automation could invoke this endpoint accidentally or based on ambiguous instructions, causing unintended irreversible state loss for the user's virtual pet/account data.
