Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill handles sensitive job-application information, but its behavior is disclosed, purpose-aligned, and includes user-confirmation safeguards before submission.

Install only if you are comfortable having the agent process resume and application-form data. Review sensitive fields such as ID numbers, demographic fields, family information, and attachments before any upload or submission, and use the built-in pause-before-submit behavior.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Missing User Warnings

Finding

This skill is explicitly designed to process and populate highly sensitive personal data, including contact details, identity numbers, family information, and employment/education history, but it does not prominently warn about privacy, retention, disclosure, or the risks of sending such data to external tools and websites. In practice, users may provide excessive PII without understanding exposure risks during parsing, browser automation, file transformation, or uploads to third-party ATS systems.

Vague Triggers

Medium

Confidence
92% confidence
Finding

The default activation phrase is broad enough to match many ordinary requests about filling hiring forms, applications, or registration sheets, which increases the chance of accidental invocation. In this skill, accidental activation is more sensitive because the skill processes resumes and populates job-application systems, potentially causing unintended handling or submission of personal data.

Finding

The skill content, examples, and operational instructions are entirely in Chinese, which can amount to forcing a specific language without user opt-in. The file does not indicate that the skill is intentionally limited to Chinese-speaking users or Chinese-region workflows only, nor does it offer alternative language behavior.
