Security audit

Azure Identity Py

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This is a straightforward Azure Identity reference skill; it discusses credentials because that is its purpose and shows no hidden execution or data exfiltration.

Install this only for Azure authentication work. Keep Azure secrets out of prompts and logs, prefer managed identity where possible, use least-privilege service principals, and pin azure-identity versions in production projects.

Finding
The trigger list includes very broad terms such as "authentication" and "credential", which are common across many unrelated tasks. This can cause unintended invocation of the skill in contexts where Azure Identity is not specifically needed, potentially steering an agent toward handling sensitive auth workflows or secrets inappropriately.
