Security audit

text-hasher

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill only documents local commands for hashing user-chosen text or files and does not add hidden access, persistence, or network behavior.

Safe to install for basic hashing tasks. For security-sensitive integrity checks, prefer SHA-256; treat MD5 as suitable only for non-security fingerprints or compatibility checks.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep
