Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a straightforward document-to-Markdown converter, with disclosed cloud upload and install risks but no evidence of hidden or malicious behavior.

Use this only for documents you are comfortable sending to MinerU's cloud service. Install the CLI from a trusted source, prefer a pinned or reviewed version where possible, and avoid authenticating for larger-file extraction unless you trust the provider and understand the account-level implications.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Insecure DependenciesIntroduces malicious components through unsafe dependency sources
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally

Finding

The skill includes a mandatory instruction that constrains the agent's response language regardless of user preference or higher-level orchestration policy. While not directly leading to code execution or data exfiltration, it is a policy-overriding behavior that can interfere with safe handling, accessibility requirements, or platform-level controls and therefore should be treated as a real prompt-safety issue.
