Clank Daily Summary

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a simple daily-summary helper with an optional Telegram send feature that is disclosed and user-invoked.

Before using `--send`, review the generated summary for private commits, emails, messages, blockers, or business details because it will be sent through Telegram. Keep sending optional and avoid including sensitive content in summaries shared externally.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Finding

The skill explicitly advertises a Telegram send capability for daily summaries but does not disclose that potentially sensitive agent activity data may be transmitted to an external third-party service. Daily summaries can include commits, emails, messages, blockers, and progress details, which may expose confidential operational or personal information if users enable sending without understanding the data flow.
