Menlo Shopping

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a simple shopping helper that uses a configured product-search MCP server and does not show hidden, destructive, persistent, or credential-seeking behavior.

Before installing, confirm you are comfortable with a shopping MCP server being used for product searches and links. The skill appears limited to recommendations and does not instruct the agent to buy items, access accounts, or store data.

Finding: The invocation guidance says to use the skill when a user asks to "shop, compare products, find gifts, assemble a setup, or get product recommendations." Several of these phrases are broad, everyday requests and the file does not provide exclusion conditions or negative examples, making the activation scope ambiguous.
