Financial Overview

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill transparently gathers business financial data to produce a financial overview, with no hidden execution or persistence behavior found.

Install this only if you want the agent to access Norman Finance data such as balances, transactions, invoices, and tax status when asked for business financial summaries. Be aware that broad requests like “how is my business doing?” may trigger a financial overview.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Finding
The skill’s activation description is broad enough to match common requests such as a general business summary or financial status question, which can cause the agent to invoke this skill more often than the user specifically intended. Because the skill aggregates sensitive financial data from multiple sources including balances, invoices, transactions, and tax obligations, over-broad triggering increases the risk of unnecessary exposure of confidential business information.
