Security audit

sql-server-toolkit

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This SQL Server toolkit is mostly coherent, but it includes unsafe default examples that can expose admin passwords and overwrite existing backups.

Review this skill before installing or using it in a real SQL Server environment. Prefer integrated authentication or interactive password prompts, avoid the sa account for routine work, and do not run the included backup command unless you intentionally want to reinitialize that backup file and have independent recovery copies.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Insecure Skill Coding PracticesFinds exploitable flaws such as hardcoded secrets or command injection
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
