Purpose & Capability
Name/description (analyze crypto whitepapers) align with the runtime steps and supplied artifacts (checklist and report template). There are no unrelated credentials, binaries, or config paths requested.
Instruction Scope
SKILL.md explicitly uses web_search and web_fetch to locate and extract papers, applies the included checklist, and generates reports. The instructions do not ask to read unrelated system files, exfiltrate data to third-party endpoints, or access secrets. Note: web_fetch will retrieve arbitrary external documents as intended for this use case.
Install Mechanism
Instruction-only skill with no install spec or code files — nothing is written to disk or downloaded by the skill itself beyond using platform tools. This is the lowest-risk install model.
Credentials
No environment variables, credentials, or config paths are required. The skill's operations (web search + fetch + analysis) do not demand extra secrets, so the requested environment is proportionate.
Persistence & Privilege
always is false and there are no elevated persistence or cross-skill configuration changes. The skill can be invoked autonomously (platform default), which is normal for this type of skill and not combined with other red flags.
Assessment
This skill appears internally consistent and focused on whitepaper analysis. Before installing, consider: (1) the skill will ask the agent to fetch external documents — only use it if you trust the agent's web_fetch capability and do not paste sensitive credentials or private URLs into queries; (2) review generated reports yourself before using them for investment decisions (templates and scoring are opinionated); and (3) if you run in an environment where fetching arbitrary URLs is disallowed, disable or restrict web_fetch access for the agent.

Like a lobster shell, security has layers — review code before you run it.
