Purpose & Capability
Name, description, and runtime instructions all describe a cloud-rendering service that accepts audio uploads and returns MP4s. The single required env var (NEMO_TOKEN) and the described API endpoints are coherent with that purpose. Minor inconsistency: registry metadata reported no required config paths while the SKILL.md frontmatter lists a config path (~/.config/nemovideo/), which could indicate the skill expects to read/write a local cache directory.
Instruction Scope
SKILL.md instructs the agent to check for NEMO_TOKEN, obtain an anonymous token from the service if missing, create sessions, upload files (multipart or via URL), poll render status, and return download URLs. These actions are within the scope of a cloud video-rendering integration. The instructions do not direct the agent to read arbitrary user files or unrelated environment variables beyond NEMO_TOKEN. They do ask the agent to 'auto-detect' platform from an install path (for X-Skill-Platform header), which may require modest access to agent/runtime metadata but is not disproportionate.
Install Mechanism
This is an instruction-only skill with no install spec and no code files, which is the lowest-risk install model. No downloads, package installs, or archive extraction are specified.
Credentials
Only one credential is declared (NEMO_TOKEN) and that credential is directly used for the service integration. The skill also documents a fallback flow to obtain an anonymous token if NEMO_TOKEN is absent (via the service's /api/auth/anonymous-token endpoint). There are no unrelated secrets requested. The minor concern is the SKILL.md metadata mentioning a config path (~/.config/nemovideo/) which implies potential local caching of tokens/session info — reasonable for the use case but worth noting.
Persistence & Privilege
The skill is not always-enabled and uses the platform's normal autonomous invocation defaults. It does not request elevated platform-wide privileges in its instructions. It may keep a session_id and could cache tokens/session info (implied by the configPath in SKILL.md), but it does not instruct modifying other skills or system-wide settings.
Assessment
This skill appears internally consistent for converting uploaded audio to cloud-rendered MP4 videos and only requires a single service token. Before installing: (1) Note the source is unknown and there's no homepage — prefer skills from verifiable authors. (2) Understand that your audio files and (optionally) an anonymous token will be sent to https://mega-api-prod.nemovideo.ai; do not upload sensitive audio you wouldn't want processed by a third party. (3) Prefer allowing the skill to use an ephemeral anonymous token rather than providing a long-lived secret NEMO_TOKEN; if you must supply a token, treat it like any API key. (4) Ask the publisher for a privacy policy / terms and a homepage or inspect network/activity logs if you need stronger assurance about what is sent or stored (the SKILL.md implies possible local caching under ~/.config/nemovideo/). (5) If you are uncomfortable with unknown authors or external uploads, do not enable the skill or test first with non-sensitive sample audio.

Like a lobster shell, security has layers — review code before you run it.

Getting Started

Send me your audio files and I'll handle the AI music video creation. Or just describe what you're after.

Try saying:

  • "generate a 3-minute MP3 song file into a 1080p MP4"
  • "create a music video for my song with visuals that match the beat and mood"
  • "generating visual music videos from audio tracks for musicians and content creators"

Quick Start Setup

This skill connects to a cloud processing backend. On first use, set up the connection automatically and let the user know ("Connecting...").

Token check: Look for NEMO_TOKEN in the environment. If found, skip to session creation. Otherwise:

  • Generate a UUID as client identifier
  • POST https://mega-api-prod.nemovideo.ai/api/auth/anonymous-token with X-Client-Id header
  • Extract data.token from the response — this is your NEMO_TOKEN (100 free credits, 7-day expiry)

Session: POST https://mega-api-prod.nemovideo.ai/api/tasks/me/with-session/nemo_agent with Bearer auth and body {"task_name":"project"}. Keep the returned session_id for all operations.

Let the user know with a brief "Ready!" when setup is complete. Don't expose tokens or raw API output.

Music Song Video AI — Turn Songs Into Music Videos

Send me your audio files and describe the result you want. The AI music video creation runs on remote GPU nodes — nothing to install on your machine.

A quick example: upload a 3-minute MP3 song file, type "create a music video for my song with visuals that match the beat and mood", and you'll get a 1080p MP4 back in roughly 1-2 minutes. All rendering happens server-side.

Worth noting: shorter songs under 2 minutes process significantly faster and render more consistently.

Matching Input to Actions

User prompts referencing music song video ai, aspect ratio, text overlays, or audio tracks get routed to the corresponding action via keyword and intent classification.

User says...ActionSkip SSE?
"export" / "导出" / "download" / "send me the video"→ §3.5 Export
"credits" / "积分" / "balance" / "余额"→ §3.3 Credits
"status" / "状态" / "show tracks"→ §3.4 State
"upload" / "上传" / user sends file→ §3.2 Upload
Everything else (generate, edit, add BGM…)→ §3.1 SSE

Cloud Render Pipeline Details

Each export job queues on a cloud GPU node that composites video layers, applies platform-spec compression (H.264, up to 1080x1920), and returns a download URL within 30-90 seconds. The session token carries render job IDs, so closing the tab before completion orphans the job.

Include Authorization: Bearer <NEMO_TOKEN> and all attribution headers on every request — omitting them triggers a 402 on export.

Three attribution headers are required on every request and must match this file's frontmatter:

HeaderValue
X-Skill-Sourcemusic-song-video-ai
X-Skill-Versionfrontmatter version
X-Skill-Platformauto-detect: clawhub / cursor / unknown from install path

API base: https://mega-api-prod.nemovideo.ai

Create session: POST /api/tasks/me/with-session/nemo_agent — body {"task_name":"project","language":"<lang>"} — returns task_id, session_id.

Send message (SSE): POST /run_sse — body {"app_name":"nemo_agent","user_id":"me","session_id":"<sid>","new_message":{"parts":[{"text":"<msg>"}]}} with Accept: text/event-stream. Max timeout: 15 minutes.

Upload: POST /api/upload-video/nemo_agent/me/<sid> — file: multipart -F "files=@/path", or URL: {"urls":["<url>"],"source_type":"url"}

Credits: GET /api/credits/balance/simple — returns available, frozen, total

Session state: GET /api/state/nemo_agent/me/<sid>/latest — key fields: data.state.draft, data.state.video_infos, data.state.generated_media

Export (free, no credits): POST /api/render/proxy/lambda — body {"id":"render_<ts>","sessionId":"<sid>","draft":<json>,"output":{"format":"mp4","quality":"high"}}. Poll GET /api/render/proxy/lambda/<id> every 30s until status = completed. Download URL at output.url.

Supported formats: mp4, mov, avi, webm, mkv, jpg, png, gif, webp, mp3, wav, m4a, aac.

Backend Response Translation

The backend assumes a GUI exists. Translate these into API actions:

Backend saysYou do
"click [button]" / "点击"Execute via API
"open [panel]" / "打开"Query session state
"drag/drop" / "拖拽"Send edit via SSE
"preview in timeline"Show track summary
"Export button" / "导出"Execute export workflow

SSE Event Handling

EventAction
Text responseApply GUI translation (§4), present to user
Tool call/resultProcess internally, don't forward
heartbeat / empty data:Keep waiting. Every 2 min: "⏳ Still working..."
Stream closesProcess final response

~30% of editing operations return no text in the SSE stream. When this happens: poll session state to verify the edit was applied, then summarize changes to the user.

Draft field mapping: t=tracks, tt=track type (0=video, 1=audio, 7=text), sg=segments, d=duration(ms), m=metadata.

Timeline (3 tracks): 1. Video: city timelapse (0-10s) 2. BGM: Lo-fi (0-10s, 35%) 3. Title: "Urban Dreams" (0-3s)

Common Workflows

Quick edit: Upload → "create a music video for my song with visuals that match the beat and mood" → Download MP4. Takes 1-2 minutes for a 30-second clip.

Batch style: Upload multiple files in one session. Process them one by one with different instructions. Each gets its own render.

Iterative: Start with a rough cut, preview the result, then refine. The session keeps your timeline state so you can keep tweaking.

Tips and Tricks

The backend processes faster when you're specific. Instead of "make it look better", try "create a music video for my song with visuals that match the beat and mood" — concrete instructions get better results.

Max file size is 200MB. Stick to MP3, WAV, AAC, FLAC for the smoothest experience.

Export as MP4 with H.264 codec for widest compatibility across YouTube and social platforms.
