Assessment

Be aware the key may be stored in plaintext if you put it in ~/.openclaw/.env; if that file is shared or backed up, consider storing the key in a secure secret store instead. Ensure Python is available to run the script. If you need stronger guarantees, review the included scripts/tavily_search.py yourself and consider rotating the API key after use or creating a restricted key on Tavily if their service supports it.
