Purpose & Capability
The name/description (influencer briefs) match the SKILL.md templates and examples. All inputs, outputs, and sections (deliverables, guardrails, disclosures, usage rights, approval checklist) are coherent with the stated purpose; there are no unrelated capabilities requested.
Instruction Scope
SKILL.md contains only prompt templates and a stepwise workflow for collecting campaign details and producing briefs. It does not instruct the agent to read files, access environment variables, call external endpoints, or perform system operations outside the brief-generation scope.
Install Mechanism
No install spec or code files are present; this is instruction-only, so nothing is written to disk or downloaded during install. That is proportionate for a prompt-based skill.
Credentials
The skill requires no environment variables, credentials, or config paths. skill.json also declares no_network and no_credentials. There are no inputs that would justify broader credential access.
Persistence & Privilege
The skill is not marked always:true and does not request elevated or persistent system privileges. It is user-invocable and may be invoked autonomously per platform defaults, which is appropriate for this kind of prompt skill.
Assessment
This is a self-contained prompt-based skill that appears coherent and low-risk: it does not request credentials, install code, or call external endpoints. Before installing, confirm you are comfortable allowing the agent to use the templates autonomously (normal default), and review the SKILL.md to ensure its disclosure and legal guidance meet your company's compliance needs—especially if you plan to use it for regulated products or sensitive campaigns.

Like a lobster shell, security has layers — review code before you run it.

Influencer Brief Builder

Purpose

This skill builds clear, actionable influencer collaboration briefs that creators can execute without guesswork — while protecting brand safety. A bad brief wastes creator time and produces off-brand content; a good brief gives creators creative freedom within clear boundaries. This skill covers campaign objectives, deliverables, key messages, talking points, mandatory disclosures, usage rights reminders, and an approval checklist. Built for brands working with creators on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, 小红书 (Xiaohongshu), and 抖音 (Douyin).

Triggers

  • "Create an influencer brief for a product launch"
  • "Write a creator collaboration brief"
  • "Draft a campaign brief for KOLs"
  • "Need an influencer brief with do's and don'ts"
  • "Build a brief for Xiaohongshu creators"
  • "Create a TikTok creator campaign brief"

Workflow

  1. Campaign context gathering — Collect campaign name, product details, target audience, campaign goal (awareness, engagement, conversions, UGC generation), budget tier (micro, mid, macro-influencer), timeline, and platform(s).
  2. Deliverable definition — Specify exactly what the creator must produce: number of posts/videos, format (feed post, Story, Reel, Short, live session), minimum/maximum length, key visual requirements, and any mandatory elements (product shot, link placement, specific hashtags).
  3. Message framework — Write flexible talking points, not rigid scripts. Include: the single most important thing to communicate, 2–3 supporting points, brand voice examples, and phrases or claims to avoid.
  4. Creative guardrails — Define do's (authentic use, real opinion, natural integration) and don'ts (competitor mentions, unverified claims, certain imagery, specific language taboos).
  5. Disclosure & rights — Specify mandatory disclosure format per platform (#ad, "Paid partnership," platform-native label), usage rights terms (brand can repost, run as ad, limited time, perpetuity), and content approval process.
  6. Approval checklist — Provide a structured checklist for the brand to review creator content against the brief before publishing.

Prompt Templates

1. Full Brief Generator (full_brief)

Purpose: Generate a complete influencer collaboration brief.

Input:

  • ${campaign_name} — Campaign or product launch name
  • ${product_name} — Product name and short description
  • ${campaign_goal} — Awareness, engagement, conversions, or UGC
  • ${creator_type} — Micro, mid-tier, macro, or nano influencer
  • ${platform} — TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, 小红书, 抖音
  • ${deliverables} — Number and type of content pieces
  • ${timeline} — Brief sent, content due, approval window, live date
  • ${budget_tier} — Gifted, paid partnership, affiliate, or ambassador
  • ${usage_rights} — Repost, paid ads, limited term, perpetuity

Output: Structured brief with all sections, ready to share with creators.

2. Platform-Specific Adapter (platform_adapter)

Purpose: Adapt a general brief to platform-specific requirements.

Input:

  • ${general_brief} — Core campaign brief
  • ${platform} — Target platform (TikTok, Reels, 小红书, YouTube)
  • ${content_format} — Feed, Story, Reel, Short, or live

Output: Platform-specific brief section with format specs, optimal lengths, disclosure rules, and content style notes.

3. Do/Don't Generator (guardrails)

Purpose: Create a comprehensive do/don't list for a campaign.

Input:

  • ${product_name} — Product name
  • ${category} — Product category
  • ${regulated} — Is this a regulated product?
  • ${brand_taboos} — Words, themes, or visuals to avoid
  • ${competitive_context} — Any competitor-related rules

Output: Do's list (authentic use cases, approved phrases, positive framing) and Don'ts list (banned claims, competitor mentions, inappropriate contexts, disclosure violations).

4. Brief Optimizer (brief_optimize)

Purpose: Improve a draft brief for clarity and creator-friendliness.

Input:

  • ${draft_brief} — Existing brief draft
  • ${creator_feedback} — (Optional) any feedback from creators about past briefs

Output: Optimized brief with tracked changes, notes on what was improved and why.

Safety Rules

  • ALWAYS require clear ad/sponsored disclosure per platform rules
  • NEVER request that creators say they "bought this themselves" or "found this on my own" when the product was gifted/paid
  • NEVER ask creators to make claims they cannot verify or that the brand cannot substantiate
  • ALWAYS respect creator authenticity — do not demand exact scripting or forbid genuine opinions
  • NEVER include competitor-disparagement talking points
  • ALWAYS specify whether content can be used as paid ad creative (whitelisting/boosting) — this has legal and platform policy implications

Examples

Example 1: Skincare Product (小红书, Mid-Tier Creators)

Input: Campaign="Spring Glow Launch", Product="Vitamin C Brightening Serum", Goal="Awareness + UGC", Creator Type="Mid-tier beauty creators", Platform="小红书 (Xiaohongshu)", Deliverables="1 feed post + 1 Story", Timeline="Brief: April 1, Content due: April 10, Go live: April 15", Budget="Paid + product", Usage="Repost on brand account, 90-day paid ad usage"

Output: Brief with Chinese+English talking points, 小红书-specific format requirements (feed post structure, photo count, hashtag rules), disclosure as "与品牌合作" (brand collaboration label), do's (show real texture, morning routine integration, honest first impression), don'ts (no "medical-grade" claims, no competitor naming).

Example 2: Kitchen Gadget (TikTok, Micro Creators)

Input: Campaign="Kitchen Hack Heroes", Product="Silicone Air Fryer Liners", Goal="Conversions + UGC", Creator Type="Micro food/home creators", Platform="TikTok", Deliverables="1 TikTok video 30-60s", Timeline="Brief: May 1, Due: May 8, Go live: May 12", Budget="Gifted + commission code", Usage="Repost + 30-day whitelisting"

Output: Brief emphasizing "real kitchen use, no studio setup," talking points around time-saving and easy cleanup, do's (show before-after of messy air fryer vs lined), don'ts (no claims about "healthier cooking" or "reduces oil" without evidence), disclosure via TikTok's branded content toggle + #ad.
