1911 → 2024：四次重生

第一次重生是从制表机到大型计算机。Thomas J. Watson在1914年接手C-T-R公司（ Computing-Tabulating-Recording），1924年更名为International Business Machines。System/360的推出在1964年彻底改变了计算行业——第一次，用户可以在同一架构上运行不同的应用。

第二次重生是从硬件到服务。1990年代初，IBM濒临破产，亏损高达$80亿。郭士纳（Lou Gerstner）接手后做了一个反直觉的决定：不拆分公司，而是转型为企业服务和咨询公司。这救了IBM。

第三次重生是从传统IT到云与AI。2010年代，IBM剥离了PC业务（卖给联想）和半导体制造（卖给GlobalFoundries），全力押注混合云和人工智能。2019年$340亿收购Red Hat——历史上第三大科技并购——是为了在云时代保住自己的位置。

今天的第四次重生？量子计算。IBM是少数真正在量子硬件上持续投入的公司，其Eagle量子处理器已实现127量子比特，Osprein达到433量子比特，2023年推出的Condor更是突破了1,000量子比特。

当前格局
