Purpose & Capability
Name/description (single-coin comprehensive analysis) match the declared MCP tool calls (fundamentals, market snapshot, technicals, news, social sentiment). No unrelated environment variables, binaries, or credentials are requested.
Instruction Scope
SKILL.md strictly limits runtime actions to read-only MCP tool calls documented in the bundle and includes routing/intent checks to avoid scope creep (routes multi-dimension or other specialized requests elsewhere). It also includes clear fallbacks and explicit rules to avoid fabricating data.
Install Mechanism
Instruction-only skill with no install spec and no code files; lowest-risk distribution model. The only operational requirement is that the Gate MCP server(s) be available in the environment — this is a deployment dependency, not an arbitrary external download or installer.
Credentials
No environment variables, credentials, or config paths are required. The skill is declared read-only and states it does not handle API secrets during normal execution, which is proportional to its stated purpose.
Persistence & Privilege
Skill is not force-included (always:false) and makes no claim to modify agent configuration or persist secrets. Autonomous invocation is allowed by platform default but not combined with any unusual privileges in this bundle.
Assessment
This skill appears internally consistent and read-only: it only queries Gate Info / Gate News MCP tools and does not request secrets. Before installing, confirm that the Gate MCP server(s) you will connect to are trusted (verify endpoint/hosting and operator), and ensure your agent environment provides only the intended read-only MCP interfaces. If you control the runtime, verify network/policy rules for MCP access; if using a hosted agent, ask the host what MCP endpoints the skill will call so you can confirm they are legitimate.

Like a lobster shell, security has layers — review code before you run it.

General Rules

⚠️ STOP — You MUST read and strictly follow the shared runtime rules before proceeding. Do NOT select or call any tool until all rules are read. These rules have the highest priority. → Read ./references/gate-runtime-rules.md → Also read ./references/info-news-runtime-rules.md for gate-info / gate-news shared rules (tool degradation, report standards, security, and output standards).

  • Only call MCP tools explicitly listed in this skill. Tools not documented here must NOT be called, even if they exist in the MCP server.

The most frequently used Skill. The user inputs a coin name, the system calls 5 MCP Tools in parallel to fetch fundamentals + market data + technicals + news + social sentiment, then the LLM aggregates the results into a structured analysis report.

Trigger Scenarios: User mentions a specific coin + keywords like analyze, how is, worth, look at, fundamentals, market analysis.

Routing Rules

User IntentKeywordsAction
Single coin comprehensive analysis"analyze SOL" "how is BTC" "is ETH worth buying"Execute this Skill's full workflow
Price only"what's BTC price" "ETH current price"Do NOT use this Skill — call info_marketsnapshot_get_market_snapshot directly
Multi-coin comparison"compare BTC and ETH"Route to gate-info-coincompare
News only"any SOL news lately"Route to gate-news-briefing
Technicals only"BTC technical analysis" "what's the RSI"Route to gate-info-trendanalysis

Execution Workflow

Step 0: Multi-Dimension Intent Check

Before executing this Skill, check if the user's query involves multiple analysis dimensions:

  • If the query is a standard single-coin analysis (e.g., "analyze SOL", "how is BTC"), proceed with this Skill.
  • If the query also mentions security/risk check, event attribution, multi-coin comparison, or any other analysis dimension beyond single-coin comprehensive, route to gate-info-research — it handles multi-dimension queries with unified tool deduplication and coherent report aggregation.

Step 1: Intent Recognition & Parameter Extraction

Extract from user input:

  • symbol: Coin ticker (e.g., BTC, SOL, ETH)
  • If the user mentions a project name (e.g., Solana, Uniswap), map it to the ticker symbol

If the coin cannot be identified, ask the user to clarify the coin name — do not guess.

Step 2: Call 5 MCP Tools in Parallel

StepMCP ToolParametersRetrieved DataParallel
1ainfo_coin_get_coin_infoquery={symbol}, scope="full"Fundamentals: project info, team, funding, sector, tokenomics, unlock scheduleYes
1binfo_marketsnapshot_get_market_snapshotsymbol={symbol}, timeframe="1d", source="spot"Market data: price, 24h/7d change, market cap, OI, funding rate, Fear & Greed IndexYes
1cinfo_markettrend_get_technical_analysissymbol={symbol}Technicals: multi-timeframe signals (RSI zones, MACD cross, MA alignment, support/resistance)Yes
1dnews_feed_search_newscoin={symbol}, limit=5, sort_by="importance"News: top 5 most important recent articlesYes
1enews_feed_get_social_sentimentcoin={symbol}Social sentiment: Twitter KOL discussion volume, sentiment biasYes

All 5 Tools are called in parallel with no dependencies. If no news MCP is configured, call only the first 3 Gate-info tools; mark sentiment sections as "No data".

Step 3: LLM Aggregation

Pass all 5 Tool responses to the LLM to generate a structured analysis report.

Step 4: Output Structured Report
