Name/description promise: Douyin search. What it actually does: calls a third‑party API (BASE_URL = www.guaikei.com) to perform searches and parse results. Instruction Scope

SKILL.md and scripts instruct running node scripts/search.js with a keyword. The code reads only GUAIKEI_API_TOKEN, makes HTTPS requests to guaikei.com endpoints, prints results, and writes results to scripts/last-search.json. It does not read other system config paths or exfiltrate data to unexpected endpoints beyond the documented API host.

Install Mechanism

No install spec; repository includes a small dependency (dotenv) declared in package.json. There are no download URLs or extract steps. The risk surface is limited to running included Node code.

Credentials

Only GUAIKEI_API_TOKEN is required, which is appropriate. Note: a default token value (e10adc3949ba59abbe56e057f20f883e) is present in the provided .env and key.js falls back to it if no token is set — this exposes a shared/default token in the package and means requests will proceed using that token if not replaced.

Persistence & Privilege

always:false and no modifications to other skills or system-wide settings. The script writes its own results file (scripts/last-search.json) which is normal for a CLI tool but worth noting if you don't want local logs of queries.

Assessment

This package appears coherent with its claimed purpose: it sends the search keyword and a GUAIKEI_API_TOKEN to guaikei.com and returns/saves the parsed results.
