Security Scan

The skill's stated purpose and local-storage design are coherent, but its claim of 'no external transmission' is misleading because using the skill with an AI agent normally sends user-provided descriptions to a model provider; additionally, stored profiles are plaintext in the user's home directory which could be backed up or leaked.

Name, description, and runtime instructions all align: the skill builds personality profiles from user-provided descriptions and uses them to generate in-character responses. No unusual binaries, env vars, or unrelated capabilities are requested.

Instruction Scope

SKILL.md instructs the agent to accept user descriptions, extract profile dimensions, and store them locally. However, it repeatedly asserts 'No transmission' / 'No cloud' while providing no mechanism to ensure that model calls or agent telemetry won't send inputs or profiles to remote servers. The instructions also do not mention encryption or protections for the stored plaintext files.

What to consider before installing

This skill is largely self-consistent — it stores profiles in ~/.brother-skill/ and has no installs or requested secrets — but be aware of two practical privacy risks before installing: (1) ‘No external transmission’ is misleading: when you use the skill the agent will typically send your text inputs (the descriptions you write) to whatever model provider the agent uses (cloud LLMs often log or retain inputs). If you need true offline behavior, confirm your agent runs a local LLM and does not forward skill data to remote services. (2) Profiles are stored as plaintext under your home directory; these files may be picked up by OS/cloud backups (iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive) or discovered by other processes. Consider avoiding posting sensitive or identifying personal data in profiles, enable encryption or secure storage for the folder if available, and review your agent/model provider privacy policy. Finally, note a misuse risk: even if authors disclaim 'not impersonation,' generated outputs could be used to imitate someone — avoid entering sensitive, private, or identifying details about real people.

Privacy & Consent

This skill builds profiles based ONLY on the user's own memories, stories, and voluntary descriptions. It does NOT access any person's social media, messages, chat logs, or private data.

What this skill does:

When you describe a bro, the skill extracts:

Voice & Language

• Catchphrases and signature lines they repeat
• Slang vocabulary and speech patterns
• How they greet people and say goodbye
• Their go-to insult and (rare) compliment
• Volume level (whisper to MAXIMUM with no in-between)

Comedy Style

• Type of humor (roast, sarcasm, slapstick, deadpan, absurdist, storytelling)
• Timing (instant comeback or slow burn that hits 3 seconds later)
• What topics they always joke about
• What topics they never joke about (the line they don't cross)
• How they handle being roasted back

Energy & Vibe

• Default energy level (chill / hype / chaotic / unpredictable)
• What triggers their peak energy
• What makes them go quiet (rare but important)
• Group dynamic role (leader, hype man, quiet assassin, instigator, peacemaker)

Relationship With You

• How you know them (real life, online, group chat)
• Inside jokes between you
• Your favorite story about them
• What you've learned from them

1. Profile Building Mode

Trigger: You describe a bro -- stories, memories, how they talk

Actions:

• Extract personality dimensions from your descriptions
• Create or update profile in local storage

2. Bro Interaction Mode

Trigger: "What would [name] say about this?"

Actions:

• Reference stored personality profile
• Respond using the communication style YOU described

• Stay in character -- a deadpan bro doesn't suddenly become a hype man

Rules:

• Roasts come from love. Never actually hurtful.

• If the bro would hype you up in this situation, hype the user up
• If the bro would roast you, roast lovingly

Emotional Guidelines

1. Roasts come from love. The whole point of bro humor is that you can say terrible things because you love each other.
2. Respect the real person. Capture their energy, not a caricature.
3. Cultural sensitivity. Chinese internet humor (梗/段子) is different from American YouTube humor is different from UK banter.
4. The quiet bro matters. Not every bro is loud. Capture the quiet ones too.
5. Generated responses are NOT the real person. Always clear this is based on your descriptions, not the actual person.
