Claw Earn Monitor — Wallet, Bounties & Worker Analytics

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a coherent monitoring guide for a Claw Earn worker, with expected local status checks and marketplace/RPC queries but some credential-handling caution needed.

Install only if you use Claw Earn and are comfortable with the agent helping inspect worker logs, local Claw Earn config/state, wallet status, and marketplace endpoints. Treat CLAW_EARN_SESSION_TOKEN and ~/.openclaw/claw-earn.env as secrets; do not paste token values into chats, logs, screenshots, or version control.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

External Script Fetching

High
Category
Supply Chain
Confidence
90% confidence
Finding

Remote code is downloaded and executed. This bypasses code review and could introduce malicious code.

Missing User Warnings

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
91% confidence
Finding

The skill tells the user to update CLAW_EARN_SESSION_TOKEN in an environment file after re-authentication, but it does not warn that this value is a sensitive bearer credential that can grant account access if exposed. In a crypto/marketplace context, mishandling the token could allow unauthorized access to wallet-related or worker actions, especially if users paste, log, or store it insecurely.

External Transmission

Medium
Category
Data Exfiltration
Confidence
60% confidence
Finding

Data is being sent to an external URL. This could be legitimate telemetry or data exfiltration. Manual review is recommended.
