VeridicusScan MCP Analyst

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed analyst wrapper for using a VeridicusScan MCP bridge to scan user-selected URLs, files, prompts, and runtime-defense workflows.

Install only if you intend to use the VeridicusScan MCP bridge. Before scanning, confirm which URL, file, or prompt is being submitted, and treat runtime-defense methods such as memory ingestion and tool gating as operator workflows that should be run deliberately.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Finding
The default prompt allows broad, implicit use of this skill for scanning URLs, files, prompts, and runtime-defense workflows without clearly constraining when it should or should not activate. In an agent environment, vague trigger conditions can cause over-invocation on untrusted content, increasing the chance of unintended data exposure, unnecessary tool execution, or attacker-controlled routing into a powerful analysis workflow.
