Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk
This is a straightforward Ionic development reference skill with ordinary developer-tool risks around npm/npx commands and external live reload.
Install only if you are comfortable with an Ionic documentation skill that may suggest running npm and npx developer commands. Prefer pinned project-local tooling, avoid sudo/admin installs, and use `--external` only temporarily on trusted networks without production secrets or real user data.

Hidden instructions were detected in comments or invisible text. These could contain malicious directives. Manual review is recommended.

Large whitespace padding was detected (a block of blank lines or a long run of spaces). This can push injected instructions below or to the right of the visible area so a human reviewer never sees them while the agent still reads them. Manual review of the hidden content is recommended.
When the user needs help with a specific component, read the corresponding reference file.

The documentation recommends ionic serve --external, which binds the dev server to all network interfaces, but it does not warn that this exposes the app and development server to other devices on the local network. In shared, public, or untrusted networks, this can allow unintended access to in-progress application content, debugging surfaces, or test data.
The live-reload device testing commands use --external, which exposes the development server over the network, but the instructions omit any caution about network visibility. Because live-reload sessions often run debug-friendly builds, exposing them on untrusted networks can increase the chance of accidental disclosure or opportunistic access.
No suspicious patterns detected.
