v3.5 Test Report

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill runs a local log-summary script that reads a disclosed fixed production-log path and prints aggregate statistics, with no evidence of hidden execution, exfiltration, persistence, or destructive behavior.

Before installing, confirm that `/tmp/agent_v35_production.log` is the log you intend to analyze and sanitize it if it may contain secrets, user data, internal identifiers, or sensitive operational details. Expect a simple console summary rather than continuous monitoring, strategy analytics, visualizations, or exported report files.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • MCP Least PrivilegeUnderdeclared Capability, Wildcard Permission, Missing Permission Declaration
  • MCP Tool PoisoningHidden Instructions, Unicode Deception, Parameter Description Injection
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access

Finding

Missing User Warnings

Confidence
91% confidence
Finding

The README explicitly states that the skill analyzes production deployment logs and defaults to reading /tmp/agent_v35_production.log, but it provides no warning about sensitive data handling, redaction, retention, or access controls. In the context of an agent skill, this can normalize unsafe processing of production telemetry and lead users to expose secrets, identifiers, or operational data in reports.

Undeclared Tool Scope

Medium
Category
MCP Least Privilege
Confidence
88% confidence
Finding

The skill advertises execution of a report-generation script and documents reading a production log from a fixed path, but it does not declare any tool scope such as file-read permissions. In an agent ecosystem, undeclared file access weakens least-privilege controls and can lead to unintended access to sensitive production data or approval bypasses.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Finding

The description field forces a specific language presentation in Chinese, and the rest of the document also assumes Chinese-language use. There is no indication that this is optional, user-selected, or justified as a region-specific skill, which creates a natural-language locale policy concern.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Confidence
92% confidence
Finding

The file's natural-language content, including the module description, comments, error messages, and report output, is written exclusively in Chinese with no indication that language selection is optional or constrained by a justified region-specific requirement. This creates a locale-policy issue because the skill effectively enforces one language for user-facing interaction without opt-in.

Finding

SQP-3 applies to all file types and covers language or locale policy violations. The operational description and usage guidance are presented in Chinese only, with no indication of language choice, translation, or user opt-in, which can amount to forcing a specific language on users.

Missing User Warnings

Low

Not specified by scanner
Confidence
78% confidence
Finding

The skill states that it reads from a fixed production-log path in /tmp but does not provide any warning about handling potentially sensitive production data. This omission can cause users or agents to process production logs without understanding confidentiality, retention, or trust implications, especially if the path is assumed safe simply because it is under /tmp.
