Date.skill

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed local dating-memory helper, but it can store sensitive relationship details in plain text on the user's device.

Install only if you are comfortable keeping detailed dating notes about other people in local plain-text files. Avoid recording information you would not want exposed through backups, shared devices, or another local process, and delete profiles when they are no longer needed.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Insecure Skill Coding PracticesFinds exploitable flaws such as hardcoded secrets or command injection
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally

Vague Triggers

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
94% confidence
Finding

The trigger phrase 'date ideas' is overly generic and may match ordinary planning requests that are unrelated to this skill, causing unintended skill activation. Because this skill persists sensitive relationship data across sessions, a false activation could surface private details or personalize output using stored profiles without sufficiently clear user intent.

Intent-Code Divergence

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
94% confidence
Finding

L207 states the skill 'Does NOT tell you what to do — presents the data for YOUR judgment.' However, the usage example later says 'Overall pattern: Positive trajectory' and suggests a 'next date idea' (L270-L272), which goes beyond neutral presentation and into evaluative guidance. This is an intent-level contradiction in the documented behavior.
