Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill creates local offer drafts with limited access, but its pricing calculations and template handling need correction before customer use.

Use this only as a drafting aid until the markup calculation and template parser are fixed. Independently verify prices, margins, approval requirements, and offer terms before sending anything. Choose a dedicated output folder because reruns overwrite price-tiers.md. The optional unsigned Windows app is unnecessary for the core workflow and is outside this assessment.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • MCP Least PrivilegeUnderdeclared Capability, Wildcard Permission, Missing Permission Declaration
  • MCP Tool PoisoningHidden Instructions, Unicode Deception, Parameter Description Injection
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
Findings (2)

Skill declares no tool scope ('permissions' or 'allowed-tools') but code capabilities were detected: file_write.

Finding

Without declared permissions the skill's intent is opaque and cannot be validated.

The documented 40% markup is implemented as a 40× price multiplier.

Excessive Agency
Confidence
99% confidence
Finding

The documented 40% markup is applied as a multiplier of 40 instead of 1.40, producing a first-tier price of $4,800 rather than $168. In an offer-design skill, this integrity defect can directly contaminate customer-facing quotes and approval decisions, causing lost sales and reputational harm; there is no evidence of malicious intent or a separate attacker-controlled exploit.
