Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed Chinese-language workflow for adding bounded adversarial review to important decisions, with no code, persistence, credential handling, or hidden install behavior.

Before installing, be aware that this skill will encourage the agent to spend extra review effort on non-trivial decisions and may spawn a separate reviewer agent. It appears bounded and purpose-aligned, but users who do not read Chinese may want a translated or bilingual version.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Finding

The skill’s descriptive and instructional content is written almost entirely in Chinese, which effectively imposes a language choice on users without any stated opt-in or alternative locale. The policy explicitly flags language or locale constraints unless the skill offers a choice or clearly documents a justified regional limitation.
