Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a documented PTJourney marketplace-listing assistant whose business-impacting actions are disclosed and require user confirmation.

Install only if you use PTJourney for these marketplaces and are comfortable letting the local PTJourney client create or control listing tasks after explicit confirmation. Verify the separately downloaded official MCP runtime and its SHA-256 before connecting it, and do not provide marketplace tokens or session files to the AI chat.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access

MCP Rug Pull

Finding

The README instructs users to run npx skills add Edmon/ptjourney-listing without pinning a specific package version. npx resolves and executes the latest matching package at install time, which creates a supply-chain risk: a compromised publisher account, malicious new release, or dependency hijack could cause arbitrary code execution on the user's machine during installation.

MCP Rug Pull
Confidence
93% confidence
Finding

The --list example still invokes npx skills without a pinned version, so it relies on whatever package version is current at execution time. Even though the command is presented as non-installing discovery, it still requires fetching and executing code from the npm ecosystem, exposing users to the same supply-chain compromise risk.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Medium
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
92% confidence
Finding

The document explicitly requires Russian-language fields such as '俄文 name' for Ozon and '俄文标题、描述' for WB, and elsewhere states that translations must be reviewed. This imposes a specific locale/language requirement in the skill instructions without offering the user a language choice or documenting opt-in, which matches the language/locale policy violation category.

Scope Creep

Low
Category
Excessive Agency
Confidence
70% confidence
Finding

Skill's behavior or capabilities extend beyond its stated purpose. Scope creep allows an agent to perform actions unrelated to its documented functionality, increasing the attack surface.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Low
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
87% confidence
Finding

The notice is written entirely in Chinese and does not provide any indication that users may choose another language or that the file is intentionally limited to a Chinese-speaking audience. Under the stated policy, forcing a specific language without user opt-in is a natural-language policy concern.

Natural-Language Policy Violations

Low
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
92% confidence
Finding

The display name, short description, and default prompt are written entirely in Chinese, and the file does not indicate that language selection is optional or user-configurable. Under the policy rule, a skill that imposes a specific language without opt-in can be a natural-language policy violation.
