Groundapi Stock Screener

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed A-share stock screener that uses GroundAPI market data and does not show hidden execution, persistence, or unrelated access.

Install only if you are comfortable sending stock-screening queries and your GroundAPI key to GroundAPI's MCP service. Treat generated stock reports as informational market screening, not financial advice, and confirm intent if a finance conversation is ambiguous.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Finding
The trigger phrases are broad enough to match ordinary finance conversation, which can cause the skill to activate when the user did not explicitly request this specific stock-screening workflow. That increases the chance of unintended tool use and unsolicited financial analysis, especially in a domain where users may be discussing markets generally rather than asking to invoke a screener.
