Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed Go helper for using the Zulip API and its credential/network behavior is proportionate to that purpose.

Install this only if you want a Go project to interact with Zulip. Treat `ZULIP_API_KEY` like a password, use a trusted HTTPS Zulip server, and review any code that sends, edits, deletes, uploads, or changes organization settings before running it.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Finding

This markdown file instructs users to supply ZULIP_EMAIL and ZULIP_API_KEY and attach them to requests via Basic auth. While technically accurate, it does not explicitly warn that these are sensitive credentials that must be protected and only used over HTTPS, which is the kind of privacy/security disclosure SQP-2 expects in markdown when user data or credentials are involved.
