go-tinker

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a disclosed Go client setup guide for the Tinker API and its credential/network use is expected for that purpose.

Install only if you intend to use this unofficial Go client with a Tinker API key. Keep the key in TINKER_API_KEY, avoid logging request headers, use the default HTTPS Tinker host unless you trust another endpoint, and be aware that training or model-management calls can consume paid compute or unload model state.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Finding

This markdown file instructs users to set the X-API-Key header on every request, which involves sending credentials over the network. The setup guide does not include any warning or caution about protecting the API key, using trusted endpoints, or avoiding exposure in logs or proxies.
