go-dydx-indexer

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

The skill is a documented Go helper for a public dYdX indexer client, and its network and dependency behavior is disclosed and proportionate.

Before installing, confirm that you trust the third-party Go module and that AGPL-3.0-only licensing fits your project. Use the mainnet or testnet base URL intentionally, and treat wallet addresses or account identifiers you provide as data that will be sent to the configured dYdX indexer endpoint.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep

Finding

This markdown file documents client methods that call remote dYdX indexer endpoints, including account, subaccount, order, fills, trade history, compliance, search, and sign-in related operations. The description does not include any warning that using these methods sends request data to external services and may expose user or account-related information.
