go-bunnynet

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a transparent Go API-client helper for Bunny.net, with sensitive API access disclosed and constrained to user-requested account operations.

Install only if you intend to let the agent help write Go code that uses your Bunny.net account API key. Treat that key as sensitive, avoid committing or logging it, and review any generated code before running operations that create, update, delete, purge, rotate keys, affect billing, or close account resources.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Excessive AgencyUnrestricted Tool Access, Autonomous Decision Making, Scope Creep
  • Tool MisuseTool Parameter Abuse, Chaining Abuse, Unsafe Defaults
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access

Tool Parameter Abuse

High
Category
Tool Misuse
Confidence
80% confidence
Finding

Tool parameters are crafted to achieve unintended or unsafe behavior. Parameter abuse can bypass intended safety checks (e.g. shell=True, --force, dangerous glob patterns).

Autonomous Decision Making

Medium
Category
Excessive Agency
Confidence
75% confidence
Finding

Skill enables autonomous high-impact decisions without human-in-the-loop verification. Critical operations (destructive commands, financial transactions, data deletion) should require explicit user confirmation.

Pagination is endpoint-specific. Pull-zone listing declares an array but describes a paginated object for `page > 0`. The typed parser cannot decode that object. Use the raw method and decode it yourself when setting `Page`; otherwise leave it unset. DNS and other endpoints have their own parameter and response types.

The client has no automatic retries or page iteration. Check 429 responses, follow server retry guidance, and avoid replaying mutations without checking the operation's semantics.

Missing User Warnings

Low
Category
Not specified by scanner
Confidence
81% confidence
Finding

This markdown file instructs users to export BUNNYNET_API_KEY, which involves handling a sensitive credential. The setup guide does not include any caution about protecting the key, avoiding shell history leakage, or limiting exposure, so the credential-related behavior lacks a user-facing warning.
